Foundry Mold and Coremaker

Job Description

As a Foundry Mold and Coremaker, you will be tasked with creating molds for metal casting processes. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings for mold construction.
• Prepare and treat mold surfaces with release agents.
• Remove finished castings from molds and prepare for further processing.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Further qualifications in metallurgy or related fields are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Metal casting processes
• Use of molding equipment

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other mold-making techniques: Knowledge in green sand, investment casting, or die casting processes.
• Familiarity with metal casting processes: Understanding of various casting and finishing methods.
