As a Narrow Fabric Calenderer, you will operate and maintain machinery to produce high-quality narrow fabrics. This role demands a keen eye for detail and an understanding of various fabric properties and finishing techniques.
Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate calendering machinery for various fabric types.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure machinery is functioning properly.
Collaborate with quality control to ensure products meet specifications.
Document all maintenance performed on machinery.
Train new employees on machine operation and safety standards.
Assist in fabric development processes to enhance production capabilities.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Trade certificate in textile or engineering preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in narrow fabric production or manufacturing
