Job Description

As a Jewelry Model Maker at Elite Jewelers, you will be responsible for designing and constructing detailed 3D models of jewelry pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD software and a strong understanding of jewelry fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, and JewelCAD to create detailed jewelry models.
• Collaborate with other artisans to refine designs and improve manufacturing processes.
• Produce and modify prototypes to meet client specifications.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies in jewelry design.
• Support the design team with sketches and model adjustments.
• Assist in training junior staff in modeling techniques.
• Provide feedback on the practicality of designs for production.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Jewelry Manufacture
• Diploma in Jewelry Design and Manufacture (preferred)

Experience

• 5+ years in jewelry design and manufacturing, with a focus on 3D modeling.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
