Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hobart. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet our business needs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud service providers and a solid understanding of DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Create and manage documentation for cloud processes and frameworks.
• Evaluate and select cloud services based on project requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for cloud-related infrastructure.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for cloud-based systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• Certification in DevOps methodologies is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps

Technical Skills

• Azure
• Linux

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools: Knowledge of tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana for system monitoring.
