As a Laboratory Apparatus Glass Blower, you will play a vital role in the production and repair of laboratory glassware essential for scientific research. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair laboratory glass apparatus and equipment.
• Operate precision tools to create custom glassware designs.
• Maintain quality control throughout the glassblowing process.
• Assist in training junior staff on glassblowing techniques.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.
• Monitor and order supplies to ensure production continuity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship or formal training in glass blowing or relevant field

Experience

• Experience working with scientific glassblowing equipment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of glass properties
• Custom glassware design

Languages
