Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Turner Off to operate a variety of turning machines and produce high-quality metal components. Successful candidates will have a strong background in precision turning and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery for production runs as per engineering specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and record measurements to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy workspace for safety and efficiency.
  • Report any machinery faults or issues to the maintenance team.
  • Engage in regular training to keep skills and knowledge current.
  • Monitor production output to identify any areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering on new designs and prototypes.
  • Provide feedback on production processes to optimize performance.
  • Assist in inventory management of materials and components.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and safety briefings.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in precision machining
