Job Description

As a Chemical Equipment Operator and Tender, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency of our boiler systems. Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of boilers and associated equipment, you'll collaborate with engineers to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of boiler systems while monitoring performance to identify issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule regular system checks.
• Document and report all findings and maintenance actions taken.
• Participate in safety audits to ensure all equipment meets established safety standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts when equipment failures occur.
• Engage with suppliers for timely procurement of spare parts and equipment.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualifications in boiler maintenance, welding, or similar trades

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Heavy machinery maintenance
• Water treatment systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Safety awareness

Certifications

• Experience with water treatment systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with heavy machinery and equipment maintenance: Practical experience working with large-scale industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in CAD software: Ability to design and plan using CAD software.
