Job Description

As a Prepress Technician, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and quality control of printed materials. Your responsibilities will encompass operating scanning equipment, ensuring high standards for document quality, and managing digital files. We’re looking for a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate document scanning equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Address and rectify any quality concerns with scanned documents.
• Maintain organized digital records and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with production teams to enhance scanning workflows.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for document management processes.
• Help develop document handling procedures to reduce errors.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and recommend upgrades.
• Document and report on daily operations to management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior training in document management is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Adobe Acrobat
• MS Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA)
• Certified Information Professional (CIP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
