Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and overseeing construction projects in Bendigo. The ideal candidate will have a knack for problem-solving, creativity in design, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. You will have the chance to work on diverse projects, from residential buildings to commercial structures, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative structural designs using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Liaise with government authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
• Track project progress and prepare regular updates for stakeholders.
• Investigate site conditions and prepare site assessments.
• Help in developing sustainable design solutions.
• Contribute to maintaining project documentation and design records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Further qualifications in project management or design are advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years in structural engineering with experience in large-scale projects.

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages
