Job Description

The Skinner plays a critical role within our manufacturing team, processing animal hides and leather for various applications. This position involves operating specialized machinery, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with other team members to optimise production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders about student progress.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to support a conducive learning environment.
• Monitor and track student attendance and participation in educational activities.
• Advocate for students’ needs and rights within the educational setting.
• Foster positive relationships with students that promote trust and confidence.
• Engage with local community resources to support family engagement in the student’s education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education in Australia

Experience

• Experience working with students with various disabilities.

Advantageous

• Understanding of Individualized Behaviour Plans (IBPs): Knowledge of developing and implementing IBPs for students.
