Job Description

We seek a dedicated Arbitrator or Mediator to join our team, facilitating dispute resolutions effectively. You will create a neutral platform for parties to negotiate their differences and help them arrive at mutually beneficial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mediation sessions and facilitate negotiations.
• Guide parties toward mutually acceptable solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive and legally sound documentation of proceedings.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance mediation skills.
• Collaborate with the Dispute Resolution team to ensure quality service delivery.
• Manage complex cases and high-profile disputes effectively.
• Utilize various dispute resolution methods including mediation and conciliation.
• Use technology to improve dispute management processes.
• Foster relationships with community organizations to promote awareness of mediation services.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a tertiary degree in law, psychology, social work, or related field
• Accreditation as a mediator with a recognized ADR institution

Experience

• At least 2-5 years of experience as a mediator or in a related legal or dispute resolution role.
