Helpers--Electricians

Job Description

We are looking for a Stage Electrician Helper to assist in the setup and operation of lighting and electrical equipment for live events and performances. The ideal candidate will have some experience in theatrical or event lighting and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical team in setting up audio-visual equipment.
• Help create lighting cues and effects as per direction.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stock levels of electrical supplies.
• Provide general support to the production team and assist in set construction.
• Carry out manual handling tasks and operate basic tools safely.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when required.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Live Production and Services (Lighting)

Experience

• Experience with audio equipment and mixing is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Experience with DMX Lighting Control Systems
• Basic Hand and Power Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with audio and visual equipment: Knowledge of operating sound systems and AV equipment would be a plus.
