Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our construction projects in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Review contracts and negotiate terms with clients and suppliers.
  • Monitor project financials and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure all works are compliant with Australian building codes and standards.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports and change orders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • MBA or Master's degree in Project Management is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, including supervisory roles
