Tube Former Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tube Former Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal tube forming, be familiar with relevant software platforms and tools, and possess relevant qualifications and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate various tube forming machines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Conduct visual and measurement inspections of tube products.
• Train and assist new operators in machine setup and operation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes.
• Document and maintain accurate production logs.
• Assist with the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in metal tube forming

Technical Skills

• Operating CNC machines
• Metal finishing techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CNC Machine Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing: Experience implementing lean principles to improve production efficiency.
• Experience with safety regulations in manufacturing: Understanding of OHS guidelines to promote a safe workplace.
