Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mold Tooling Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mold tooling systems used in our manufacturing operations. A background in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience in mold maintenance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of mold tooling systems quickly to minimize downtime.
• Monitor tooling performance and suggest modifications to improve efficiency.
• Train team members on proper tooling maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts and tooling services as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to quality control measures during all maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to foster safety and efficiency.
• Document repairs and maintenance logs accurately.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss tooling performance and improvements.
• Support the production team to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement preventative maintenance strategies effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Toolmaking or related field
• Trade qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in injection molding processes

Technical Skills

• CNC Machining
• Injection Molding

Certifications

• Advanced Safety Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Quality Control: Background in quality assurance processes in manufacturing.
