Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with burring machines. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
• Prepare the workspace and machinery for production runs, including set-up and teardown.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery.
• Coordinate with the production manager to align on manufacturing schedules.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production challenges and solutions.
• Document production metrics and report any irregularities in processes.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Experience in metalworking or manufacturing is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
