Job Description

As a Furniture Crater, you will be key in packing and crating furniture for shipping. Your main responsibilities will encompass ensuring all items are properly protected and secured throughout the transit process while adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize best practices in packing and crating furniture.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance workflow.
• Inspect packaging materials and equipment.
• Comply with safety and quality standards.
• Participate in training sessions on packing techniques and tools.
• Oversee the inventory of packing materials.
• Assist in the maintenance of packing equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training preferred

Experience

• Experience with international shipping regulations is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Experience using packing tools
• Knowledge of inventory management systems

Soft Skills

Certifications

• OHS awareness certification (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
