Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Manager, where you will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure streamlined operations within our Mackay facility. Your leadership will be pivotal for building a motivated workforce and enhancing service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery and receipt of products.
• Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse layout.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all warehouse activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance for team members and ensure employee compliance with policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the management team to forecast staffing needs and budget requirements.
• Continuously monitor and assess operational processes for areas of improvement.
• Act as a point of contact for all warehouse-related issues, providing quick resolutions.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation among staff.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in a managerial role

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• ERP Software

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience implementing Continuous Improvement programs: Proven record in enhancing warehouse operations through CI methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Analytics: Using data analysis to improve decision-making processes in warehouse management.
