Job Description

We are seeking a Terminal Superintendent to manage and oversee our terminal operations in Melbourne. The perfect candidate will combine extensive experience in logistics with a hands-on approach to ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee terminal activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate logistics operations with third-party vendors.
• Review operational processes for continuous improvement.
• Lead staff meetings and communicate updates to team members.
• Maintain accurate records of terminal operations and logistics activities.
• Develop strategies to improve terminal efficiency and reduce costs.
• Interact with clients to ensure service satisfaction.
• Train staff on operational safety and procedures.
• Utilize logistics software to monitor shipments and track inventory.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations to terminal staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in terminal operations or logistics management
