Job Description

The Incinerator Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of incineration equipment to dispose of waste materials while complying with environmental regulations and company policies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our waste management processes are effective and compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks on incineration equipment for optimal performance.
  • Support the loading and processing of waste materials for incineration.
  • Document daily activities and maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with safety personnel to uphold safety protocols.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance operational skills.
  • Assist in emergency response procedures as required.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in a waste management environment is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with incineration equipment
  • Basic computer skills
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team collaboration skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Experience with welding and metal fabrication: Ability to assist in equipment maintenance.
