Responsibilities
Administer echocardiograms and assess results for abnormalities.
Ensure all equipment is in working condition and report maintenance needed.
Collect and document patient medical histories relevant to imaging services.
Engage with medical staff to discuss and strategize patient care approaches.
Assist in the quality assurance and improvement of echocardiography services.
Provide training and support to junior sonographers and students.
Implement updates to protocols as needed based on best practices.
Contribute to departmental meetings to discuss case studies and developments.
Track and manage patient appointment schedules efficiently.
Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques.
Requirements
Education
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sonography or relevant field
Master's degree is preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography
