Telephone Operator

Job Description

We are looking for motivated Telephone Operators to manage toll payments and assist motorists at our toll booths. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash accurately, ensuring a smooth transaction experience for all road users.

Responsibilities

• Collect tolls and provide change to customers.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures at the toll plaza.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of toll equipment.
• Provide motorists with information regarding toll rates and conditions.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Report traffic abnormalities to management proactively.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Toll Supervisor.
• Promote a customer-friendly environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or cash handling role

Languages

Advantageous
