Command and Control Center Specialist

Job Description

As a GCCS COP/M 4.X Operator, you will manage and maintain the Global Command and Control System Common Operational Picture/Maritime 4.X. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting of all operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular systems checks to ensure operational readiness of GCCS COP/M 4.X.
• Compile and analyse data for operational reports and briefings.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate cross-functional support.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system processes and training.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant tertiary education in Defence Studies or similar field
• Certification in GCCS COP/M 4.X is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the military or defence sector

Technical Skills

• GCCS COP/M 4.X operation
• GIS Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating in a maritime environment: Practical experience working within maritime operations or surveillance.
