Job Description

The Field Artillery Basic Training (FABT) Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs for upcoming field artillery soldiers. This role includes hands-on training in artillery tactics, techniques, and procedures to ensure that trainees are combat-ready.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive training modules focusing on artillery operations.
• Deliver engaging and practical training in diverse environments.
• Monitor and evaluate trainee progress with detailed assessments.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance training programs.
• Ensure a high standard of safety and protocol adherence in all training activities.
• Facilitate classroom lectures and practical demonstrations.
• Coordinate field exercises that simulate real-life scenarios.
• Manage logistical needs for training equipment and materials.
• Engage in continuous improvement of training practices.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to military training.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Completion of Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC) or equivalent
• Certification as a qualified artillery instructor is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field artillery operations

Technical Skills

• Experience with artillery targeting software
• GPS and mapping software

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Willingness to work in challenging environments

Languages

• English: Fluent
