Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Police Identification and Records Officer. In this position, you will be crucial in ensuring accurate data management and supporting community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update the records database to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support police operations through timely retrieval of relevant data.
• Develop community outreach strategies to enhance participation in available programs.
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals to clients needing urgent assistance.
• Engage with local stakeholders to build positive community relationships.
• Coordinate fundraising efforts and assist in organising community events.
• Train and mentor volunteers and new staff members on processes and procedures.
• Assist in preparing reports for management on service impact and outreach.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
• Relevant professional development or certifications

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in community services or related field
