Job Description

The Tactical Debriefer (TD) Officer is responsible for conducting comprehensive debriefing sessions with military personnel and detainees to extract vital intelligence information. You will play a crucial role in analysing and relaying this information to support military operations and enhance situational awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead interviews with key personnel to gather intelligence on critical incidents.
  • Produce detailed intelligence reports for operational planning.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information handled during debriefings.
  • Utilise software tools for intelligence analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate and improve debriefing processes continuously.
  • Monitor developments in military operations to identify intelligence needs.
  • Deliver briefings to command staff based on findings from debriefs.
  • Assist in the development of intelligence training materials.
  • Participate in operational planning meetings to provide insights based on gathered intelligence.
  • Support crisis management efforts with timely intelligence updates.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence, Security Studies, Political Science)
  • Completion of a military or law enforcement training program
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on intelligence gathering and analysis.
