Job Description

The Wind Turbine Service Technician plays a key role in the operational success of our wind turbine systems. Your responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and ensuring optimal operational efficiency of the turbines. A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the operational efficiency of wind turbines through meticulous maintenance.
• Perform inspections and identify any faults in the turbine systems.
• Engage in team discussions to improve operational procedures.
• Provide training to new technicians on standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Renewable Energy
• Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certification

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with renewable energy systems.

• Familiarity with safety procedures

• Flexibility

Certifications

• Working at Heights Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in remote locations: Comfortable with travelling to various sites for maintenance work.
• Technical knowledge of control systems: Understanding of SCADA systems used in turbine operation monitoring.
