Job Description
As a Prepress Technician, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of our phototypesetting equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the machinery functions optimally to meet production goals while delivering high-quality print output.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of phototypesetting equipment.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure print specifications are met.
Implement preventative maintenance for machinery to avoid downtime.
Perform troubleshooting on phototypesetting and printing equipment.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals are met.
Maintain documentation regarding material usage and processing steps.
Ensure that all procedures are documented according to industry standards.
Provide reports on equipment performance and production efficiency.
Requirements
Education
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining phototypesetting equipment.
