Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Cullet Crusher and Washer to join our productive team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that crushes and washes glass cullet, ensuring the highest quality standards in recycling.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for production runs and ensure it is functioning correctly.
• Conduct troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Assist in training new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
• Support environmental initiatives and sustainability practices in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certification in machinery operation or similar field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in the glass production or recycling industry.

Technical Skills

• Experience with industrial machinery
• Familiarity with safety protocols

Certifications

• Forklift License
