Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the design, construction, and repair of optical instruments. This position requires a strong understanding of optics and hands-on experience with laboratory equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of our optical products.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and test optical systems such as lenses and microscopes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Maintain laboratory standards for safety and quality assurance.
  • Manage inventory for optical components and laboratory supplies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
  • Train junior staff on laboratory practices and equipment usage.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree in optical engineering or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant optical laboratory experience
