Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining induction heating machines to ensure optimal performance in various manufacturing processes. This role requires strong technical skills and a solid understanding of heat treating principles.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of induction heating equipment for various metal products.
  • Adjust controls to regulate process variables such as power, frequency, and temperature.
  • Monitor and inspect products during the heating process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in the development of new processes and techniques for heat treating.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and repairs.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to validate production methods.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Electrical is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
