Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet stringent specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery to ensure jobs are completed to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and tests on machinery.
• Document production processes and report any anomalies.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in production.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Trade qualifications in machining highly regarded.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machine tool operation and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Buffer and Polisher Operation
• Lapping Process Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• OHS Card (Occupational Health and Safety)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
