Job Description

As a Certified Flexible Endoscopy Reprocessor, your primary role involves ensuring the thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation of flexible endoscopes and their accessories, adhering strictly to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level disinfection of endoscopes using suitable methods.
• Develop and implement training programs related to endoscope reprocessing.
• Keep equipment and work areas in compliance with infection control protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings to discuss quality concerns and solutions.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members on reprocessing procedures.
• Document all maintenance and reprocessing activities accurately.
• Support quality assurance measures to improve patient safety.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in research and development of best practices for endoscopy reprocessing.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is preferred
• Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
