Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join our vibrant team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will assist in medication dispensing, manage inventory, and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth operation in our fast-paced pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the pharmacist to facilitate the safe and effective use of medications.
• Conduct inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and expiration dates.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Educate customers about pharmaceutical products and assist in health promotion activities.
• Help in training new staff and provide support during busy periods.
• Participate in audits and compliance checks as required.
• Implement measures to enhance customer experience within the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy Technician studies
• Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred
