Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Motorboat Operator to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. The role involves operating and maintaining motorboats for the efficient transportation of passengers and cargo. Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of marine safety regulations and have strong navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and steer the motorboat in different conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems on board.
• Review navigational charts and plan routes for efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
• Respond to adverse weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
• Perform emergency drills and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service.
• Maintain cleanliness and order on the vessel.
• Prepare and submit incident reports as needed.
• Assist in preparing the vessel for departures and arrivals.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Marine Operations or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating motorboats
