Job Description

As a Student Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students through their educational journey. You will provide guidance on course selection, career pathways, and study skills, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate student needs and develop tailored advising strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs.
  • Provide support for students experiencing academic difficulties.
  • Facilitate communication between students and staff.
  • Coordinate with external organizations to enhance student opportunities.
  • Participate in committees related to student wellbeing.
  • Actively promote and support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Document and report on student advising outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Higher qualification in education or counseling is preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in student services or academic advising
