Dexigraph Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dexigraph Operator to join our production team in Sydney. The successful candidate will operate and maintain Dexigraph printing equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality printed materials across various sectors. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Responsibilities

• Run and oversee the Dexigraph printing process, ensuring optimal performance.
• Calibrate and set machine parameters to produce prints meeting client specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the printing area.
• Liaise with the Production Manager about project progression and challenges.
• Document machine maintenance and any repairs performed.
• Train junior staff members on machine operations and safety protocols.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Monitor print runs and adjust settings for varying print sizes and materials.
• Support the graphics team by ensuring their specifications are met in final prints.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Printing or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating printing machinery, preferably in a Dexigraph role.
