Job Description

As a Photographic Process Worker, you'll be responsible for manually developing photographs using traditional darkroom techniques. You'll work with a variety of photographic formats and materials to produce high-quality prints, ensuring adherence to clients' creative visions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop film using chemical methods to produce high-quality images.
  • Monitor the chemical composition and adjust as necessary.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines.
  • Document the development process and maintain inventory of materials.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on new techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate on project briefs to ensure alignment with creative objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and improvements.
  • Follow detailed instructions and protocols to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in training junior staff on darkroom procedures and safety practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in photography, fine arts, or related field is preferred
  • No specific educational qualifications required
Experience
