Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pattern Gater to be part of our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying patterns for clothing and accessories using CAD software. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and demonstrable experience in pattern making within the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify patterns using CAD tools with a focus on accuracy.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure patterns reflect creative visions.
• Conduct quality checks on patterns and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with project timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Document and maintain a digital archive of patterns for future use.
• Research and incorporate innovative techniques in pattern design.
• Provide support during the production process to troubleshoot any issues.
• Mentor new designers on best practices in pattern making.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance product lines.
• Engage with vendors to source high-quality materials necessary for patterns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the fashion industry, focusing on pattern making using CAD software.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Marker Making Knowledge

Languages
