Job Description
We are seeking skilled Ophthalmic Medical Technicians who are committed to providing high-quality care and support to our ophthalmologists. The successful candidates will perform various diagnostic tests and assist in ophthalmic procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed diagnostic tests and assist in preparing patients for examinations.
Aid in administering anaesthesia and medications during procedures.
Keep equipment clean and in good working order; conduct routine checks.
Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the ophthalmologist.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and operational improvements.
Help maintain inventory of supplies and order as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.
Requirements
Education
Certificate IV or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology or related field
Experience
Familiarity with ophthalmic equipment and procedures is a plus
