History Professor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced History Professor to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in history, conducting research, and providing academic leadership within the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives in your area of historical expertise
• Publish research findings in top-tier academic journals
• Represent the department at national and international conferences
• Advise on academic policy within the department
• Engage with the broader community through public lectures and outreach
• Collaborate with other departments to promote interdisciplinary studies

Requirements

Education

• PhD in History or related field

Experience

• Active research profile and a record of publications in history.

Technical Skills

• Ability to conduct research and publish scholarly articles and books

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
