Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our Darwin office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within the electrical engineering domain. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs and specifications for projects.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the installation of electrical systems and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Work with project managers to ensure project delivery within budget and time constraints.
• Conduct performance tests and evaluations to ensure system reliability.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for team members.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide oversight on project tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering field, preferably in a consulting environment
