Job Description

The Packer will be responsible for ensuring that goods are packed and distributed safely and efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of quality control and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are safely packed to prevent damage during transport.
• Collaborate with team members to manage workflow effectively.
• Utilize warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Perform regular checks on packing materials to avoid shortages.
• Assist in training new packers in packing procedures.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Report any discrepancies or concerns to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse role desired

Technical Skills

• Warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Stock control

Soft Skills

• Strong work ethic
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift license
• Driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with inventory management software: Knowledge of WMS and stock control practices.
• Driver's license: Obtaining a driver's license may be necessary for some tasks.
