Job Description

As a Weapons System Instrument Mechanic, you will be pivotal in ensuring the operational reliability of electronic and electro-mechanical systems used in various weapons systems. This role requires expertise in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support the installation and configuration of advanced weapon systems.
  • Monitor system performances and initiate repairs or adjustments.
  • Document maintenance procedures and maintain detailed records.
  • Assist in training junior technicians on system operation and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in the field.
  • Participate in regular safety and operational training programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communication or equivalent qualification
  • Higher qualifications in electronics or engineering are advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
