Road Oiling Truck Driver

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Road Oiling Truck Driver to contribute to our road maintenance efforts. Your role will involve operating a tanker truck and ensuring the timely delivery and application of oil products on various road surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate oil tanker truck in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure the truck is in optimal condition.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Monitor environmental conditions during oil application to ensure effectiveness.
• Keep updated with new regulations related to road maintenance and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public.
• Maintain effective communication with team members regarding operational issues.
• Train new drivers on procedures and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of an approved truck driving training program

Experience

• Previous experience in road construction or similar field is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read maps and follow directions

Soft Skills

• Flexibility
• Good customer service skills

Certifications

• Completion of safety training courses is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
