Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production team. Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining kilns and furnaces, ensuring optimal temperature and humidity levels, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Control and operate multiple kilns and ovens under strict safety guidelines.
• Ensure the quality of products by conducting regular checks and adjustments.
• Engage with team members to ensure effective communication regarding kiln operations.
• Maintain soft and hard copies of operational records for quality assurance.
• Assist in training new team members on kiln operations and safety protocols.
• Participate in shift meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support the implementation of new firing techniques and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualification in manufacturing or ceramics is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
