Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our Port Hedland team. In this role, you will evaluate insurance applications, assess risk, and make informed underwriting decisions to ensure the best coverage for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assess financial stability and risk exposure of applicants.
• Coordinate with actuaries and claims specialists as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and agents.
• Audit underwriting files for compliance and accuracy.
• Participate in professional development and industry seminars.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Additional certifications in risk management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with underwriting focus
