Job Description

Our firm is on the lookout for a knowledgeable Tax Consultant who can provide expert advice to our clients on their tax obligations. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of Australian taxation laws and a knack for problem-solving. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure that their tax filings are accurate, compliant, and optimized.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client financial information to ensure compliant tax practices.
• Assist with business tax planning and compliance.
• Collaborate with the audit team for tax-related issues.
• Provide specialised advice in income tax, GST, and FBT.
• Work closely with external stakeholders and authorities.
• Assist in developing streamlined reporting tools for tax processes.
• Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on behalf of clients.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of diverse tax consulting experience

Technical Skills

• GST and FBT Expertise
• Tax Software Proficiency

• Interpersonal Skills
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Tax Agent Registration
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
