Job Description

Our firm is on the lookout for a knowledgeable Tax Consultant who can provide expert advice to our clients on their tax obligations. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of Australian taxation laws and a knack for problem-solving. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure that their tax filings are accurate, compliant, and optimized.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert tax advice to clients and guide them through compliance issues.
• Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Stay updated with Australian taxation laws and regulations.
• Identify potential tax savings and planning opportunities for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to gather information and documentation.
• Assist clients during tax audits and respond to inquiries.
• Develop strategies to solve complex tax problems.
• Offer guidance on business structures from a tax perspective.
• Educate clients about tax obligations and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of diverse tax consulting experience

Technical Skills

• GST and FBT Expertise
• Tax Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Tax Agent Registration
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
