Job Description

The Van Loader will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to destinations. This role is vital in our logistics operations, helping us maintain a seamless supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from vans and trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of items for transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of loaded and unloaded goods.
• Assist with inventory management activities, including stock-taking.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Help with administrative tasks related to inventory management.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a similar role in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Operating heavy machinery
• Safety compliance

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Forklift license
• First aid training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
