Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Melbourne team. In this role, you will manage financial records, conduct audits, and prepare tax returns while ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a strong grasp of Australian accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Coordinate with clients on financial issues.
  • Ensure timely payments and receipts.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial plans.
  • Update and maintain accounting software systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles
